Welcome from our Principal

Mrs Sara Slater, School Principal

It is a pleasure to welcome you to Modbury School P-6 website. Whether you are an existing family, or your child is attending for the first time, we warmly welcome you to our school community and trust that our website will provide information that will assist you. Modbury School P-6 is situated in Modbury North, near Tea Tree Plaza sharing a border with a beautiful walking trail along Dry Creek River.

We believe that the most important people to enter the school grounds each day are our students.  At Modbury School P-6 we are passionate about making sure every child has the opportunity to succeed, learn and thrive. We adapt and evolve our approach to teaching and we embrace technology and allow students to explore emerging fields within their learning. Everything we do is underpinned by our School Values of ‘Connect, Challenge and Create and Be Kind, Be Safe and Be Resilient’. The team at Modbury School P-6 implement Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) where the focus is on teaching behavioural skills through explicit instruction.

Our warm and friendly culture is evident throughout the whole school, underpinned by our school values. Classrooms are equipped with up-to-date technology and innovative learning programs to maximise student learning potential.

At Modbury School P-6 we look to have a place where students, parents and community members build strong relationships that provide a sense of belonging and positively support each other.
